GRADE 9
Subject CHOICE

Grade 9 is an important and exciting year when learners typically start thinking about possible careers and which set of subjects to choose for Grades 10 to 12. These subjects and how well they are passed at the end of Grade 12 will determine the fields of study you can follow at tertiary institutions once school is completed. It is therefore essential that you choose subjects that you enjoy and are good at and those that will help you achieve your career goals. To support you in your subject choice process, we offer professional subject choice guidance to grade 9s, as well as to grade 10s considering subject changes. Our subject choice guidance provides valuable insights, helping you make informed decisions that align with your interests, strengths, and future aspirations.
